Pursuant to s 73(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga City Council proposes to grant a lease for land on Arataki Park located at 1 Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui to The Order of St John Central Region Trust (“Hato-Hone St John”) for an initial term of ten years, with one further renewal term of ten years. The lease is proposed to commence on 1 February 2025. If the renewal period is exercised the final expiry date will be 31 January 2045. Hato-Hone St John currently operates from this site and a lease has been in place with Tauranga City Council for this purpose.
The lease area is comprised of approximately 2,131m2 and is contained in Record of Title SA33D/438 being described as Part Lot 2 DPS 32737. The Reserve is owned and administered by the Council as a Recreation Reserve and is subject to the Reserves Act 1977.
