Te Wiki o te Reo Māori

Councillor Hēmi Rolleston shares a few highlights from Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), including the gifting of a name for our leased office space at 90 Devonport Road - Mareanui.

Mareanui is the name of a prominent pā site in this area and reflects the multitudes of people that once occupied this space. Today, the building is a place where people come together to serve and support the city.
