One Love Festival 2025

The 2025 One Love Festival will be held during Auckland Anniversary weekend, on Saturday 25 January, and Sunday 26 January.

Thousands of reggae lovers will attend this much-loved, homegrown event at Tauranga Domain, making it the largest reggae festival in Aotearoa.

Noise

The One Love Festival may be heard beyond the venue and for this reason the hours of operation are restricted to 10.30pm on Saturday 25 January and 10pm on Sunday 26 January 2025.

A Noise Management Plan has been submitted and approved as part of the resource consent process. As part of this, a robust monitoring process has been put in place to monitor noise levels and times of operating throughout the event.

One Love Festival’s consent permits amplified noise during the following times:

Sound checks between 4pm – 6pm on Friday 24 January 2025 and between 10am –11am on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January 2025
Saturday, 25 January 2025: 12noon – 10.30pm
Sunday, 26 January 2025: 12noon – 10pm

Rubbish Collection

Due to your bin collection being on Monday, we request that you please place your bins out on the morning of 27 January before 7am, rather than the night before.

Road closures and recommended routes across the city

There will be road closures in place in the Tauranga city centre to support event operations and safe pedestrian access to and from the event.  The following roads will be closed from 9:30am Saturday, 25 January to 6am on Monday, 27 January 2025:
